David Healey began teaching classes in Journalism and Composition at Cecil College before joining what is now the Purdue University Global faculty. Previously, Healey was a news reporter and editor for 21 years and won awards for his writing that included best editorial of the year from the Maryland-Delaware-DC Press Association. He earned his B.A. at Washington College and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern Maine. He has a special interest in adult learners and his current academic research is focused on intergenerational communication in the workplace.
